SAGINAW, Michigan - The Reverend Al Sharpton speaking at a convention to get the name of the Blackberry changed to the African-American Berry was asked what he thought about the way that the country music world had treated hip-hop rap artist Kanye West.
Rev. Sharpton cleared his throat and he said that it was a pitifully pathetic pathos propagated by prurient people.
He then said, "Dis young man, Kanye West was disrespected by disrespecting folkses simply due to da fact dat de bro he be black. And fuddermores I demands an apology from Carrie Underwear, Brad Pasadena, and the Jugg sistas, Wyoming and Nairobi."
The reverend went on to say that had he been in the audience he would have gone up on stage and personally taken the microphone away from Tyler Sweet.
He then added, "I would have tolden every performer, presenter, and peoples in da audience to stop making fun of Kanye West just because da brudaa be black."
Sharpton was told that her name was Taylor Swift and not Tyler Sweet. He rolled his eyes and said, "Dats eggsactly what I be saying, Tykeisha Sweat. Do nots trys to be insulting me and confusing me and complicating da issued issue please."
The reverend was asked what he would have thought if that day when Kanye ran up on stage and took away the mic from Taylor Swift, if instead it had been Toby Keith running up there and taking the mic away form Lil' Kim.
Rev. Sharpton paused. He coughed several times. He cleared his throat and then he spoke. "Ah dat is not da same thing. Toby Keith he be a whole lots bigger dan little Kanye be so derfor it be irelative."
SIDENOTE: After the convention Reverend Sharpton was asked what is next on his quest to implement his racially motivated program known as "The African-Americanizing of Da USA." Rev. Sharpton said that he will travel to the delightful Dakotas where he will campaign to get the name of the Black Hills changed to the more politically correct African-American Hills.
