Well Disguised TheSpoof Rep In Sweden

Herta Mueller, a member of Romania's ethnic German minority who was persecuted for her critical depictions of life behind the Iron Curtain for many years, has won the 2009 Nobel Prize in literature Thursday in an award seen as recognition of the 20th anniversary of the collapse of communism.

Although communism exists today, it has changed in many ways, given the example of China's free enterprise stated the panel.

Mueller was honored for work that "with the concentration of poetry, poetry and the frankness of prose..did we mention poetry?..depicts the landscape of the dispossessed," the Swedish Academy said.

Coming in a close second for the third year in a row was "TheSpoof".

"We all read that joyous, thought-provoking journal in it's many forms daily", stated one panelist.

"Some of those stories would be even funnier if they weren't so true", stated another.

No one would comment on why TheSpoof.com always finishes second but many fear that the voters would be considered a bunch of idiots, "which they is", stated one of 1,000 spokespersons for the online magazine.

"I catch myself giggling, snorting and rolling on the floor", stated another Nobel voter for the Literature prize. "Then I suddenly realize, Hey, that buffoonery was about ME!"

Most think that that's the very reason TheSpoof is always the runner-up. Too many of the Nobel Literature voters have caught it in nuggets by TheSpoof's articles, news snippets, diaries and jokes.

Make Bureau's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
