image for Did "So You Think You Can Dance" Contestant Outdo Janet Jackson's Super Bowl Performance?

A contestant on Tuesday's episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance' apparently revealed too much when she dropped to the floor to celebrate her advance to the next round, or was that the plan?

After all, the show needs some ratings help.

Some people have been saying that reality TV contestants allow themselves to be over-exposed. But in this case it may be said that she was under-exposed.

Tuesday night, a female auditioner on "So You Think You Can Dance" was so elated when judge Little C told her she was going to Vegas, she fell down on the stage and began rolling around on the floor, apparently with no underwear.

Today the footage was all over the net so, if not pulled by now, you can judge for yourself.

The Fox Network says that she was wearing flesh-toned panties but it doesn't appear so to many.

A slow-motion video grab first posted on PerezHilton.com, it's almost impossible to say whether contestant #22036 was in fact completely uncovered as she rolled on the floor in happy relief after learning she had been successful in making it to the show's next round. But, if she was wearing panties, it certainly looks like they weren't covering all her female parts.

How censors on the show's Fox network managed to miss the crotch shot, when casual viewers obviously did not, may be destined to remain a mystery.

Will this disqualify the young lady or make her the #1 favorite?

"None of us knew she did this," stated Nigel Lythgoe, judge and executive producer. "The show was always designed to expose talent, but not talent in this way."

If you don't mind, I don't think there are many who will agree with that statement.

Meanwhile, watch the ratings chart go up for next week's "show"!
