Jenna Elfman won't just be acting when she plays a pregnant woman in a new CBS sitcom this fall. She's expecting her second child in real life.
She is also cast as a pregnant woman in the new movie, "The Elfman Baby" due out in early 2010 and in the Off-Broadway Play, "Hey, Jenna's Preggers!"
The former "Dharma & Greg" star is featured in the new series "Accidentally on Purpose," where she's a snippy movie critic who becomes pregnant following a fling with a younger man.
Then she gets knocked up in "The Elfman Baby" by an alien probing like a house on fire.
Next, in the play, "Hey, Jenna's Preggers!" she falls in love with the clone of her husband, Brodie, who's a male Elf.
Elfman told Julie Chen on "The Early Show" on Wednesday that she wasn't into method acting. But Jenna says that since her characters are all pregnant in their various roles, it would be a good time to have a baby because she won't have to worry about hiding her pregnancies.
Elfman and her husband, actor Bodhi Elfman, have a 2-year-old son named Story.
She says she will have another son named, Window, Ceiling, Highrise and Floor, Window being the real baby...she thinks.
