Well, scandal has rocked this season's Dancing with Stars with one of the judges, Bruno Tonioli, leaving already to take Paula Abdul's place on American Idol.
"This is a major career step for me." The camp Italian explained. "My overall aim is to enter the political scene in Afghanistan and rid the world of the evils of opium and religious extremism. Clearly at the moment my opportunities in this sphere are limited, but I reckon if I can gain maximum exposure on US prime time then it should be easier for me to make follow in President Karzai's footsteps."
We asked Bruno what his policies would be to counter fundamentalist extremism and a billion dollar heroine trade.
"Well, I would put more passion into the steps taken."
We nodded wanly at the weak link between dancing and politics
"Ok, ok - va bene. Basically the rules of dance should apply. The man should lead in a dominant fashion and the woman should follow come what may, even if it that ends in her own demise."
A policy that President Karzai has already been following it seems.
