Levitra Beaver, a modern version of the TV Classic Leave It To Beaver will premiere this Fall on the FOX Network with a few of the original cast dropping in from time to time.
"The original 'Leave It To Beaver' is listed among the Top 100 All-Time TV Classics", stated Frank Bank who is the chief writer this time around. "Variety once called it the television equilivalent of Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer. So we're glad to offer our new version."
In the first episode the Beaver, now all grown up and having a different problem than those experienced as a kid back in the 1950's, calls on his big brother Wally:
"Gee Wally, I can't get it up anymore. I'm afraid I'll lose Glenda. What can I do?"
"Beav, haven't you heard of Viagra?"
"You mean, like Viagra Falls? I should take Glenda on another honeymoon. Gee Whiz, Wally, how can we go on another honeymoon when I can't even get it up? Besides, those Falls will make me have to use more adult diapers."
"No Beav, it's a pill. Well, try Levitra, you take the pill and wait an hour and..."
"Hey Beav, this is Eddie Haskell, you mean you can't get it up anymore? Wow! Wait until.."
"Give me back the phone Eddie. Look Beav, go to the doctor and tell him your problems and he'll write you out a prescription for Levitra and you'll be fine."
"Golly Wally, that's great news. I don't think I'll tell Glenda though."
"You won't have to, Eddie's telling her now."
"So you see, it's like the old show but modernized", stated Bank.
All the old cast were interviewed on Oprah Monday and it's scheduled for showing in late November, on the Friday right after Thanksgiving. Fox will be running ads any day now, according to producer, Ken Osmond.
