A friend says Kanye West was recently listening to the Wendy Williams radio show when he heard the quote about himself saying he's the new king of pop. Well he's setting the record straight saying it's not true, he has never said that.
According to the friend, Kanye was just listening to Williams and heard some quote about him saying he was the new "King of Pop". That not only did he not say such a thing, he hadn't said anything about any "King Of Pop" and that if he did, he was sorry, but he hadn't said anything.
He then said that it makes him feel bad that obviously he made people feel that he would be corny enough to say something so wacko after the passing of an idol, like Jacko, a legend and, more than that, a human being with feelings and family and all that kinda good crap.
Kanye reportedly then stated that what someone had apparently done was to overhear him talking to his new dogs, King & Pup, and mistook what he was talking about. "I'm the new owner of King & Pup!"
The source said that the tee shirt place apparently had screwed up the letters on the shirt Kanye was wearing and that they had refunded his money and sent him the right one, "King & Pup" which hadn't arrived yet, and he would show the right one later on.
"I just didn't want to waste a good basketball playing shirt, even if it had this silly, "King Of Pop" on it."
