Los Angeles, CA - The estate of Michael Jackson on behalf of the late entertainer, Michael Jackson, 'The King Of Pop', has filed a lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles for wrongful death. The suit is believed to be for approximately $3 billion and claims that the city was negligent in allowing various doctors free access to his house via City of Los Angeles streets, doctors whose prescriptions would eventually lead to the singer's untimely demise.
The attorney on behalf of the Jackson estate, Miles Outlandish, made the following statement. "We believe the City of Los Angeles is negligent in this matter. We have been gathering evidence. We can match these doctors up to their vehicles and their vehicles to various skid marks around the city; tred marks that lead to Michael Jackson's former place of habitation. If they had not gained access to Michael Jackson's house via these roads then we would not be talking about this today."
City of Los Angeles officials are in a state of shock. They had hoped the Michael Jackson Estate would have helped pay some of the $1.4 million it cost to stage the Michael Jackson memorial.
Said one city councillor, "Well that's it. Game over. We might as well just make Elizabeth Jackson 'Queen of the Duchy of Los Angeles' and be done with it. Ain't no way the City of Los Angeles can cough up $3 billion."
Many Los Angeles residents have resigned themselves to the fact that a quick out of court settlement would be a much better way to go than to have to dredge up all the sordid details of Michael Jackson's life again.
Said the mayor, "We as a city are totally and utterly spent when it comes to the Michael Jackson and his family. Give them whatever they want. Is it Disneyland they want? Give them that. Is it the zoo? Give them that too. Give them anything as long as we don't have to relive the horror story of Michael Jackson. And for god's sake, bury the man."
