Satirical website TheSpoof.com was today left reeling under a stormcloud of controversy as contributors scrambled to get to the bottom of the Chamone mystery.
Spoof writer, Chamone, who appeared within the last few days posted a captivating avatar on the site's forum pages, which sent many elderly male spoofers running for the kleenex, denies being anyone other than the chick in the pic.
All manner of unpleasantness ensued, with female spoofers racing to their keyboards in order to 'kick ass' following a series of vaguely worded challenges.
However, veteran Spoofers, accustomed to this kind of incursion have not been fooled.
"It's not uncommon for writers to assume multiple identities," one veteran Spoofer told us. "My buddy and I are on the case, and we're pretty sure we've identified the perpetrator."
This Spoof reporter doesn't really care. Although it will be interesting to find out the truth. You can never believe a word of what you read on this website, and that's what makes it such fun.
More alias related animosity as we get it.
