HOLLYWOOD (AP) Hilary Duff is sure to win the respect of serious movie audiences in her new film "Evil Eyes". Appearing recently in movies such as Lizzie McGuire and Casper Meets Wendy, the pretty 17-year-old actress felt that she needed to take a more serious role as a mature woman in order to prove her acting ability. "In Evil Eyes I am transformed into an older woman who has had a very hard life," said Hillary.

Evil Eyes' director Woody Allen says, "I cast Hilary Duff into my movie because I noticed one barely perceptible wrinkle under her right eye and thought that, with the right makeup, I could transform her into an old hag. I personally find Hilary most attractive both before and after her makeup sessions..."

Spoof Reporter Morgan Truce has learned from several spies on the secret filming location that the movie, written by John Davies, involves a knife-wielding crazy woman set in Central New Delhi, India. Although the movie is said to be shooting scenes in East Los Angeles, Mr. Allen's careful editing should be able to give just the right atmosphere of Central New Delhi.

Makeup artist Ve Neill has been transforming Hollywood actors for many years. She turned Robin Williams into an elderly woman in Mrs. Doubtfire. Hilary Duff arrives 16 hours before filming starts each day in order to undergo her elaborate makeup. Hilary Duff said, "By the time Ve Neill gets through with me, I can hardly recognize who that person in the mirror is!"

"But I do wish the makeup sessions didn't take quite so long. For the first half of the filming I just stayed in makeup 24 hours a day, but that proved to be a problem with my boyfriend after I got off the set. He said he couldn't even bear to kiss me anymore. I thought that was pretty shallow of him, you know. That's when I started thinking seriously about Woody Allen. Woody just seems to accept me for whoever I am. Woody took me home to meet his lovely wife Soon Ye. The three of us hit it off so well, they have been talking about adopting me!"
