Alaska Governor Sarah Palin abruptly announced this Friday that she is resigning from office at the end of the month, a shocking move that rattled the Republican party but left open the possibility she would seek a run for the White House in 2012.
"If the Republican party is rattled now, wait a couple of months,' stated one staff member who threw back her head and laughed.
Palin, 45, and her staff are keeping her future plans shrouded in mystery, and it was unclear if the controversial hockey mom would quietly return to private life or begin laying the foundation for a presidential bid or even for state Senator.
"I doubt if it's a presidential bid", stated the same lady who wouldn't give her name.
After questioning several people, one guy asked, "What would happen if Sarah wanted her own story of what she went through from the democrats last year would be completely published-nothing left out-say for some centerfold pix that were tastefully done? Plus a wad of cash?"
But that's all that he would say.
Palin's spokesman, David Murrow, said the governor didn't say anything to him about this magazine story but he hopes that if it's true, people will understand what lowlifes there are in that party (Democrat) and the extent they will go to publish lies.
"She did say that she is looking forward to serving the public outside the governor's chair and then laughed," he said.
