image for Lindsey Lohan to replace Emma Watson in Harry Potter 7

Lindsey Lohan has been cast to play Hermione in the 7th of the Harry Potter films. Emma Watson left the film after a scene didn't go the way she planned. A source says that they were filming the scene of the battle at hogwarts, when she insisted on giving herself an extra line. When the director said that she couldn't, she had a huge fit. She started cursing, and acting like a child. Our source says,

"She was acting absolutly crazy! I thought she was joking till she threatened to leave the film. We tried all we could to calm her down, but nothing really helped. She was acting soo diva on us".

Our source then says that the director tried to talk some sense to her before she officially quit the film. The production company attempted to keep Emma's quitting of the film a secret, but the secret was revealed when Emma sent a twitter to her fans discussing the issue. "I couldn't take it anymore! They didn't respect my wants, so I feel like I gotta give Hermione's wand to another person" Watson said in her now famous twitter.

The director tried desperatly to get Emma to come back to the film, but she chose to stay away from the Harry potter film. When Emma Watson refused to come back to the film, the original idea was to get another actress to play her and use CGI Emma's face onto the body. After long discussion, American actress Lindsey Lohan was cast to play Hermione Granger.

Lindsey said during an interview, "I am like soo totally thrilled to play Hermione. This film could make me even more famous".

Daniel Ratcliff, and most of the cast are against the decision, but the crew of the film hope that they can respect their decisions. They also hope that the fans will treat Lindsey Lohan as Hermione just as they did for Emma Watson.
