News from Hollywood this morning is that the long anticipated Twilight Movie Sequel "New Moon" may be postponed, if only for a few weeks, or possibly more.
"This is the worst thing", stated a movie rep. "We have fans waiting for this movie for all this time and someone either deliberately sabotaged the editing or someone has made a giant goof and will certainly lose their job over it."
Apparently there's still a chance for the December release for theaters in the United States one editing specialist told us.
"If we really get busy or call in more people we can still get it done", stated Melissa Rosenberg, the screen writer. "But here's the drawback: All these actors and producers and about 50 other people involved DO NOT want to put out anything less than "perfect" from our point of view. If we rush this thing too much, who knows what will happen? We have at least 2 more movies planned in this series."
After a lot of rushing around and activity at all levels, someone said they had Stephanie Meyer, on the phone and SHE wants it out in December before the holidays!
"I hope this hasn't anything to do with that lawsuit over plagiarism", Meyer reportedly told Rosenberg over the phone. "I know we've stepped on some toes and there's a lot of jealously out there."
Meanwhile, WILL "New Moon" be out in December of this year? At this stage it's uncertain.
"Look", one guy told us. "The actors have done their part even though some people even tried to get to them. I mean, look at the press every few days. Now someone's been into the mechanical side."
"Do you think it'll be out in time?"
"Yes! Someone really doesn't want it out. But the fans will have our hides if we don't!", he laughed.
