Universal City, CA - Yes, we all know now that the stunt pulled between comedian Sasha Baren Cohen and rap star Eminem at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards was staged. So staged, in fact, that both parties rehearsed the stunt beforehand to make sure it would go off without a hitch. Eminem, a known fan of raunchy comedy, could not have performed better. Vanessa Hudgens looked ready to duck for cover in case Eminem pulled a gun on Cohen's character, "Bruno."
But, according to an MTV writer for the awards show, Paris Hilton was his first choice for the stunt! Apparently, she turned the comedian down for fear of embarrassment and looking like an idiot.
Really, Paris? That was only thing holding you back?
Let us look at some things in the life of Paris Hilton that could have benefited from this newfound healthy fear: "The Simple Life." Paris's music album. "My New BFF." Memorable quotes like "Wal-Mart…do they make walls there?" and "What's a soup kitchen?" A sex tape. Jail time for repeated driving offenses such as a DUI and driving multiple times on a suspended license. Where was that blessed fear then?
Bottom Line: Paris could've have participated in Cohen's prank. She need not fear embarrassment. After all, she's had plenty of experiences to help overcome that fear.
