LONDON, UK - Al Qaeda is alive and well and spamming the Britain's Got Talent website with derogatory comments regarding the performance of young Hollie Steel.
Having broken down mid-song on tonights semi-final, Hollie Steel dusted her self off, tried and succeeded in presenting an audience rousing rendition of 'The Sound of Music' tune 'Edelweiss'.
Soon thereafter, however, a barrage of ridicule and spite began appearing on the BGT website forum directed at the young singer and the BGT judges. In fact so many negative comments regarding the outcome forced the moderators to shut the forum down.
It is suspected that the comments may be coming from operatives of Al Qaeda residing in Britain although Scotland Yard has surmised it may also be politicians and their families who have been negatively affected by the expenses scandal.
Asked whether the comments could be coming from run-of-the-mill British folk with a chip on their shoulders, Chief Inspector Rory Howell replied, "It could very well be just that but why blame the British public when you can pin it on a wholly unlikeable foreigner?"
