Michael Jackson has threatened to pull out of his proposed London shows in a row over boiled sweets.
Although the promoters agreed to Jackson's demands over champagne, five star accommodation and caviar, they were not prepared to provide the star with the three bags of sweets he demanded for every performance.
A spokesman for Jackson said, "Michael likes to have the sweets available at the end of the show to give to his young followers backstage. This is an important part of his routine, and helps him relax after the show. He is a big attraction in London, and deserves to be treated as one."
The promoters had already declined Jackson's request for several false beards and glasses, as well as baby rabbits and free tickets to London Zoo.
