The latest from a spokesman for Amy Winehouse says that his client is willing to perform on stage with Michael Jackson but then stated, "I'm reading this directly from Ms. Winehouse."
"Whenever Jacko gets himself together to begin his comeback tour, I will do so the same and would like to be on the same stage with him, maybe do some duets together. I mean, you HAVE to do duets together or they would sound bleeping awful."
"I know, I now, I got to watch the language. But you can't have Jocko singing "Billy Jean" and me singing a slow number or even a ballad of Billy Jean as I think I did one time when I was ten or so I've been told."
"What was it I was talking about? Oh, yes I'm already ready to hit the stage with Billy Jean but he's going to have to straighten out his life a bit so he doesn't give me a bad image, you know."
"After all, he was on trial once where he got up on a car or something about a ranch. Can't imagine old Billy Jean up on a horse, herding sheep."
"Oh, I hope we can get Bob Marley on stage too. I had a good talk with Marley, who used to record for my company, and he's all for it. We just need to get Billy Jean's OK on the dotted line."
"End of statement", stated the attorney.
