Hollywood is all a buzz with the news that Britney Spears is sprouting a brand new, rose coloured pimple on the end of her nose.
The pimple, nick-named The Scarlet Pimpernel, appeared last Saturday after Britney's big night out with Paris Hilton and co.
Paparazzi gathered around the star's home that same day to try to be the first to snap a photo of Britney and her brand new pimple. But Spears outsmarted them all by covering her face with a medical mask, citing she was afraid of catching Swine Flu. One rowdy photographer was arrested after trying unsuccessfully to remove the mask from Spears face. Instead he inadvertedly applied pressure to the painful red lump and Spears was rushed to hospital. She was checked over and sent straight home with an ice-pack on the tender area. Doctors said there was no immediate threat of the pimple becoming bigger or more aggressive and that the pimple was a dormant one that had not erupted in over three years. Spears was, however, warned to stay alert and be on the look out for puss.
Clearasil has offered $1,000,000 to the first person to supply a photo of the Scarlet Pimpernel - but paps know that time is running out and the famous pimple may have already reduced in size - by tomorrow the pimple could be nothing more than an angry blackhead.
