Mormon mom Marie Osmond leaves hers troubles behind to new life on the road, doing music that she loves!
Marie Osmond 49, has left years of heartache behind in Utah and moved to Las Vegas, where the devout Mormon is once again working with brother Donny but ready for a Rolling Stone Tour being scheduled for later this year.
"Sis is taking this thing one step at a time", states Donny. "She's joining me here to perform with me on stage and get her used to being up on the stage again."
About the Stones tour?
"Marie wants to break away from the 'silly love songs' and show she can do some other stuff. She has a great voice and the Stones themselves are pretty excited. Remember, these guys are in their sixties now."
Marie, born and raised in Utah, "has been through so much that she wanted to start over somewhere else," revealed a family insider. "Marie is happier than she's been in a long, long time, and she is thrilled that her career can be back on track."
"She's been through two divorces, adopted five kids besides her own and tried to commit suicide. So what's wrong with her wanting to get back to singing and performing on stage."
Meanwhile, we're not sure those 60-year-old rockers are sitting in their rockers as yet.
The Stones rocker Ron Wood is apparently in his second childhood, getting ready to marry his 20-year-old Russian gal, Ekaterina Ivanova. Wood sparked a huge controversy last summer when he left his wife of 23 years, to nest in with Ivanova- who is four decades his junior. He has since told his close friends that he has found "a new lease of life" since dating Ivanova.
Currently the guitarist is waiting for his divorce to be finalized with Jo and then he will move on towards planning his big day with his 20 year old girlfriend. Wood is also working extremely hard to protect his multi-million dollar fortune that he has amassed as a rock 'n' roll artist.
Although the Rolling Stones are currently not on tour, reports have them gearing up for an extended journey through the United States later in the year.
