Not the cast of friends.

RIBERA, NM - Ribera radio station 94.3 KGUN runs a daily segment called "celebrity sighting". This is where anyone within listening range of the station calls in to report having seen a celebrity the night before.

DJ Rob "spinnin" Jones said about the segment "Well, they don't win anything or nothin', if they seen a celebrity the day before? er, well? I guess even if it was like a few days ago, like well, if they've seen a celebrity in the last week, they just call and tell us and we talk to them for a few minutes. But they DO NOT win anything. They could probably call if it was like a little more than a week too really."

Thursday morning Earnist Culpwater (pictured above with his "magic lamp") called to inform morning radio show host "Mad" Ricky Pendelbrook that he had seen "one of those kids from that Friends show at Walt's [tavern]" the previous evening. When Pendelbrook asked which Friends cast member, Culpwater responded with "Do we have to kill the guy to get the prize?". Pendelbrook informed Culpwater that there was no prize involved in this segment, and the line abruptly went dead.

Five minutes after Culpwater hung up, an area student, James Knicklilly, called the show and said he had been at Walt's the previous evening. He was positive that no Friends cast members had been there that night, but there was "this one guy who kind of looked a little like Dave [David] Schwimmer? you know, um? oh yeah, Ross (pictured above top right in cast photo)".

The person that looked like Ross has since been identified as professional David Schwimmer look-alike Ross Gellar, who legally had his name changed from Jake Peterson to Gellar in an attempt to further his look-alike career.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
