The Britney Spears' Circus Tour may be heading way down south, down under.
Attorneys representing the pop star and father Jamie's conservatorship discussed in court today the possibility of taking Spears' supremely successful Circus tour to Australia.
"She's a little apprehensive," stated Jamie. "She told all of us last night that she'd never performed upside down but it sounded kinda kinky!"
Nothing has been decided at what was otherwise a largely uneventful hearing pertaining to the conservatorship, which has been in place since Feb. 1, 2008, and was extended indefinitely in December.
Another court date has been set for April 14, so she could leave after that.
Her dad granted one short interview in which Britney told reporters, "What if you have a wardrobe malfunction while standing upside down? Or what if one of those big hopping rats get up on stage while I'm performing and BOTH of us are upside down? I wouldn't be able to get away from it, standing on my head. No, the earth would be up there so I'd still be on it."
"I don't know about this! I mean, there's an elephant in the show. How's he going to react upside down or if he sees what he thinks is the Mother of all Mouses?'
The questions were stopped at this point.
