Washington - Still stinging from the AIG bonus crisis president Obama made a left turn in his road to economic recovery today by announcing that he and Gordon Brown have struck a deal to trade celebrities. The US will send the Octumom to the UK and receive Jade Goody in a straight up trade with no special considerations.
While the two celebrities have kept the press in their respective countries at a red alert for the past months both leaders know this pace cannot continue and have secretly revealed that they want to deal now while Goody and Octumom both have some value.
Naysayers say Obama simply wants to transfer the crushing welfare debt of raising the offspring of Octumom to Great Britain.
Obama says that "The Octumom will not be going to Scotland" and points out that "The Octumom may single handedly increase the birth rate in Britain reducing their dependence on immigrant labour."
"Not only that, the Octumom has more experience with labour than Gordon Brown."
"Sport enthusiasts may be heartened to know that she already has near enough children to field her own football team, perhaps in Hull."
When questioned about British celebrity Jade Goody, Obama replied ""Don't bother."
