It's been trumpeted as the most ambitious project ever undertaken by a group of writers, but US based spoofologist, Morse, is convinced he's on to a winner.
"It's basically a story about pirates, which top spoof writers will write on a segment by segment basis in the magazine section," he told us. "Granted, it's never been tried before, and we don't quite know how it will work out. But I think it'll run and run, a little like that world's largest penis/vagina thing that everybody detests. The beauty of this project is that all the contributors will also be characters in the story. It'll be amazing, if and when it ever gets off the ground. I was a marine you know."
Many other writers feel that the project is doomed to failure, but TheSpoof.com CEO Sir Mark Lowton told us:
"For such a disparate group of crazy insomniac substance abusing nutters to attempt something as ambitious as this warms the cockles of my heart. I'm proud of them."
