Questions have been raised over talk show host Oprah Winfrey's commitment to weight loss after she consumed an entire cow at the President's inaugauration dinner and was later seen toasting Barrick Obama from a large gravy boat filled with custard.
"We were pretty stunned when she ordered an entire cow" admitted dinner organiser Leon Cutler "we'd planned on feeding about fifty people with that but when she ordered it and then requested a bed sheet as a napkin we knew she was serious"
Winfrey's weight wasn't the only concern for those who shared the table with the mega celebrity with her state of mind also a concern some suggesting Oprah may have got carried away with the moment.
"She was telling stories about how well she knew Barrick Obama and several other black historical figures some of which to be honest sounded a bit far fetched and and at times quite bizarre" claimed a fellow diner "especially the one about in the 60's when she said she was Martin Luther King's dry cleaner"
The Winfrey camp has remained largely silent on the matter with only a short statement coming from a spokesperson who said the inauguration was a grand occasion to be enjoyed by all black Americans adding that Oprah stood by all comments made on the evening including that she'd once lived next door to Rosa Parks and had also been Jessie Owen's personal trainer at the 1936 Olympics
