image for Lost in Space Actor Suffocates in Robot Suit in Inauguration Rehearsal
Robot was also to warn Obama about danger of mother in law Robinson

Bob May, the actor who played the robot in TV hit series Lost in Space was found dead behind the Inauguration platform after a late night rehearsal this week. NASA spokesperson, Houston Wehafa explained that the breathing apparatus on the 60's suit, the same ones used by today's astronauts due to budget cuts, must have malfunctioned:

"This happens all the time to our younger astronauts and they just hold their breath till the doohickey snaps out of it. Sixty nine year old May must not have had the ticker to withstand the five to ten minute oxygen lapse..."

May was scheduled to do a comic appearance during the Inauguration in which he toddled up to the new president's wife and recited his famous line:" Danger, Michelle Robinson!" There will be a moment of silence during the president's address if they can get him to shut up for a minute.
