image for ItaliaTV Straightens Brokeback Love Scenes
Gosh You give me wood is translated into the Italian to be a conversation about buying lumber for the new barn

Just as Ang Lee's gay cowpokes are about to start some pokin' out where the deer and the antelope play, ItaliaTV censors spoke the discouraging word: Cut! The dozen or so homosexual slaps and tickles in the film have all been altered by ITLTV editor Salvatore Di L'Homophobiano.

In one passionate embrace, a fog rises out of the dry wash to obscure the manloving. In another rather indiscreet back climbing episode, the campfire starts emitting more smoke than when Rome burned.

At times the Italian translation distorts the original gayness of Lee's film. Both cowboys are made to keep asking: "Where are all the lady folk?" Even when they are really saying: "Ride me like a big boy!"

Make Pointer's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
