Mexico City (Tacuba Times) - Woody Kesmon, a native of Settee, Australia, recently broke the Guiness World Record for listening to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass's Tijuana Taxi while riding in the bed of a truck in Mexico City.

Following his surprise abduction on Cinco de Mayo, Mr. Kesmon spent the last three months blindfolded in the cramped confines of the bed of a 1988 Toyota Pickup. "I was utterly helpless and despondent," he commented. "I have never felt so alone in my life."

"On one particularly bad day I spent the better part of Siesta near the gift shop of the ancient city of Tenochtitlan. Despite repeated pleas for help, nobody came to my rescue. In fact, I firmly believe that the Mexican police were behind my abduction." He went on to add, "At this time, I am just happy to be reunited with my family and friends."

When reached for comment Mr. Alpert stated: "Thank you for this lifetime achievement award. And thank you to my fans everywhere!"
