image for Miley Cyrus Does Nothing Newsworthy Today
Nothin doin.

In what some are calling a "devious and manipulative" publicity stunt, teen sensation Miley Cyrus spent Wednesday, July 23rd doing nothing newsworthy.

"I just kind of sat around and hung out with friends today," Cyrus told reporters after they learned of the monumental day that was void of any Cyrus headlines.

Apparently she didn't film, sing, pose provocatively, or engage in any sort of behavior that could be misconstrued as sexual for the entire day. No matter how many leading questions reporters asked her, absolutely nothing worthy of a headline was said.

"It was nice just to be a normal teen today. That's all I did."

Some experts think that Cyrus's nothingness was just a stunt to get attention.

"When someone like Miley Cyrus, who is in the news every day, does nothing for an entire day, she is just trying to get everyone's attention," an anonymous celebrity gossip expert claimed. "For a star like her, doing nothing is sometimes more interesting than doing something. It's shocking and out of the ordinary."

Other experts thinks the move will cost her popularity.

"If she continues to do nothing, people will stop looking to her. Think of all the celebrities that haven't been in the news at all for the past six months. They aren't in the news because they have done countless days of nothing," a Hollywood gossip analyst said.

Whether or not Miley Cyrus's decision to do nothing will have a major impact on her career remains to be seen. In the meantime, Cyrus says that tomorrow we should be on the lookout for something.

"Tomorrow I will do something. Today I just wanted to relax with my friends and be normal."

Be sure to read the headlines tomorrow for more important news on Miley Cyrus.
