image for Angelina Jolie gives birth to quads
One of the storks waits for the other en route for France

In a surprise announcement, French Actress, Angelina Jolie has given birth to quadruplets. The incident happened at Lenval Hospital in Nice, France where the babies were delivered by Caesarian section on Saturday night. All four babies are "doing fine" said the cleaning lady in the delivery room.

Jolie, who is married to Brad Pitt, already has a girl called Shiloh born in 2006. The couple also have three adopted children - Zahara, a girl from Ethiopia; Maddox from Cambodia and the other boy, Pax, from Vietnam. Speculation among the world media is rife and it is rumoured that the pair want to introduce their own football team in time for the World Cup 2018. The team will be multi-cultural and each individual will have the very best footballing talent of their native country.

In an exclusive interview with Brad Pitt as he emerged from the delivery room, he told In Seine News;

"I am over the moon - we have eight now! We only need three more for a team. We are going to South America next month, because we know there are world-class players there - Pele, Maradonna and Ronaldo came from there and it would be fairly easy to adopt a street child there. We did think about getting one from Liverpool but by the time they are 13, they'll probably get stabbed!"

Our reporter then broke some unfortunate news to Mr Pitt;

"We have just been told that the cleaning lady was using a new cleaning solvent in the delivery room that causes anyone present to experience double-vision, so your wife actually had twins and not quads as you thought"

Brad Pitt's jaw dropped on the floor and as he picked it up, he was able to say;

"I guess we shall have to find five then?".
