The National Trust have announced they have almost purchased much loved and popular funster Bruce Forsyth adding him to the Trust' growing numbers of historical attractions.
'We are pleased to announce that Mr Forsyth is about to become part of our portfolio and will accessible to our members and others in the near future'
The move signals a change of direction for the Trust who, to date, have concentrated their work on preserving coastlines and historical monuments.
A spokesman for the Trust announced yesterday 'We believe the acquisition of Mr Forsyth to be an exicting development'
Brucie has announced 'I am very honoured and privileged to be considered as a National Trust attraction, my love'
The BBC has, however, expressed concerns believing that people visiting Mr Forsyth will be a distraction while he is involved in contractual work for the Corporation such as 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
'The last thing we need is old dears turning up with Thermos flasks and laying out tartan picnic rugs on his hairpiece while Brucie is doing his thang' it said.
'You get nothing for a pair-not in this game'
