NEW YORK (FMLiveWire) -- Marvel Studios' latest superhero blast Iron Man brought a bunch of superstar actors and other notables to its New York premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday night as a sequel was revealed to be in the works.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Downey Jr., Miley Cyrus, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gore Vidal, Al Gore, Fidel Castro, Jeff Bridges, Iron Man director Jon Favreau and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad all arrived on the red carpet at the Tribeca Grand screening room for the premiere.
In the much anticipated comic-book-inspired movie, Downey stars as billionaire weapons maker and brainiac Tony Stark and his alter ego, Iron Man.
He decides to fight the forces of evil represented by Jeff Bridges after spreading death and destruction and earning huge profits by selling weapons systems to the Pentagon.
Miley Cyrus announced that she will star in the sequel to the movie as Iron Woman in which she mates with Iron Man Downey in a passionate and difficult scene in which they couple in their respective metal suits while flying through the air and fighting the forces of evil.
"I will film the mating in the sequel with all the good taste and sensitivity it deserves," the director Jon Favreau said.
As for Iron Man's rival, "it was fun to play the bad guy," Jeff Bridges said. "In the sequel I will take a crack at Miley Cyrus too. Who wouldn't want a piece of that underage jail bait?"
