Fresh on the heels of the Pet store customer who tried to smuggle a snake in her hot pants, an Eugene, OR pet store owner was bitten and thrown to the floor by a 12 foot Burmese python.
Quick thinking Johanna Cleese of the Now for Something Completely Different Python Emporium called 911. Customers failed to respond since they had become immune to the constant blaming of everything on 9-11.So Johanna called the police.
Sgt Preston arrived none too soon and began to disembowel the reptile with his knife. Ms Cleese aware of the pretty penny the serpent cost her, pleaded for its life. The sergeant proceeded to whack off the woman's arm still in the clutches of the python's fangs. The snake seemed happy with the treat.
The woman managed to sell the no longer hungry snake for a near fortune and the sarge received a commendation for fast action and support of the local business community.
