Paul McCartney may be looking to play the Maritime provinces of Canada on July 1st, Canada's birthday, sources at his company have stated. The company is looking at either Halifax, Nova Scotia or Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island.

Word came back quickly from the office of the Premier of Newfoundland to MPL Communications hoping to nix the plan. Premier Danny Williams responded by saying,

"Several hundred angry Newfoundland seal hunters with clubs does not make for a good party. And the RCMP detachment in Halifax cannot handle that number."

An official decision has yet to be announced.
