Princess Mary has a new rival. New princess on the block, Athena Alexiadis, has made a name for herself very quickly, being just named the princess of a newly-discovered, luxe European island named Florenza.
The 7year-old is moving to the island in a Castle she designed herself with her family next Friday and will begin settling in to their new home.
Florenza has often been described as "Hawaii and Paris all in one", and when HRH Princess Athena was asked about what she thought of that comment in particular, she simply replied, "If that's true then I'm sure to have a great time!"
She recently held a press conference with manager Eve Alexiadis nearby, stating that she will be coming back to Australia regularly for visits to her home country and will be touring Europe with some of Disney's biggest names like Ashley Tisdale, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff and Raven to promote her new Disney Reality TV Series, "I, Athena".
The four Disney stars mentioned have said that they "Just couldn't say no to that cute little smile". When questioned about her first commandment as Princess of Florenza, Princess Athena said, "No boys allowed!"
She's a fast moving name, already adding a Vogue Australia front cover and Dolce and Gabbana photo shoot under her belt. Not long after she was uncovered as the quiet islands Princess, it was revealed that Florenza was notorious for it's previous Princess's having to wear the bulky king's crown. Princess Athena revealed her plans for the crown at her press conference, saying "I'm going to make it look really pretty. I'm going to paint it pink and put on some pretty purple jewels!"
She also revealed her plans for the island itself.
"I'm going to put a big day spa and lots of fashion shops around Florenza so my friends Zac and Vanessa can come and visit, and I've also got a big gymnasium for my teddies to do some excersising to keep fit."
And wait, she's generous too!
"I've also decided to build a special castle that is a house and hospital inside at the same time, just for kids who have zippers."
While many were befuddled by this remark, HRH Princess Athena's manager was found shedding a tear at the back of the hall. Such an honest, generous, and downright cute new Aussie princess!
Look out Mary, there's a new Princess on the block.
