MEXICO CITY-A major Latin American motion picture studio announced earlier today that it has secured the rights to the Michelle Malkin book "In Defense of Internment" and plans to bring the story to the big screen.
The script, based loosely on the actual material, tells the tale of an aging "Vampire Queen" (Michelle Malkin) who drinks the blood of Latino and Muslim immigrants from the excavated skull of slain American hero and fallen Apache leader "Geronimo". The blood ritual summons the un-dead corpse of the American anti-patriot and famed grave robber Prescott Bush who, aided by his hordes of Neo-Nazi Zombie Storm Troopers, rounds up unsuspecting victims and "interns" them in concentration camps where they await a certain and terrible fate at the hands of the evil "Commandant" Queen.
Armando Torres, the film's producer, hopes his project revives the campy black and white "Luche Libre" films, a genre made popular in the 1960's with titles like "Santo Vs. The Martians" and "Night of the Bloody Apes"; films that were replete with masked wrestlers, vampires and ape-men battling each other against a surreal horror/fantasy backdrop.
WCW wrestler Cesar Gonzalez of "Nacho Libre" fame is in talks for the male lead as "El Guardino" the masked, caped hero who infiltrates the "camps" and frees the immigrants before engaging and ultimately defeating the Queen and her minions in an epic battle of "Good Vs. evil".
"That's where the film parts from the book" says Torres.
The part of blood thirsty Vampire Queen, political pundit, blogger and FOX NEWS contributing analyst Michelle Malkin is still up for grabs.
"We're looking for someone who is very "Malkin-esque" Torres explains. "Someone who has that bizarre, scary post-op transsexual look, right down to the freakishly swollen gum line, whacked out hair and crazy eyes"
The project was initially pitched to Neo-con propaganda producer and Bush cheer-leader Jerry Bruckheimer who passed on the film because he "didn't like the ending".
The film is officially in the pre-production stage with a projected wide release planned for the summer of 2010 (Unless of course we're all under martial law before then).
