The singer Snoop Dogg was arrested today after an altercation at Heathrow Airport, London.
The rapper and producer was initially approached by airport security and asked to move his 'Pimpmobile', as it was parked in a no parking area. A debate ensued, during which Mr Dogg allegedly told the security personnel to 'shizzle my dizzle', whereby he was immediately detained on the grounds of being a public nuisance. The local police were called, and after repeating 'Don't you know my name? I say Snoop, you say Dogg' several times with no response, he was removed to a secure area.
The police duly arrived, and after listening to Mr Dogg rap about how he had been 'fitted up' and had 'paid da cost to be da boss', they took him to Gerrards Cross police station and cautioned him.
A spokeswoman from the Metropolitan Police issued this statement: "While it is our policy to welcome people from all nationalities and backgrounds, it is unreasonable to expect security personnel to carry out their duties while being asked to shizzle Mr Doggs, or indeed anybody elses, dizzle."
The lawyer representing Mr Dogg also made the following statement: "Wo' for sure my dizzle was trizzle to lay his beat down fo' sure! But he don' got izzled on some kizzle and now the po-lice done bust his dee-ooh double jizzle. Yo fizzle kizzy wizzy izzle what you sizzle?"
There will be a heavy police presence at Wembley Arena tonight, where Mr Dogg will begin the European leg of his 'Izzle Wizzle Bizzle Sizzle' tour.
