Paramount Pictures today sensationally revealed that the working title 'Indiana Jones IV' will be set in Scarborough, with filming due to commence next week.
Taking a different approach from the previous three Indiana Jones films, the director Steven Spielberg today spoke of his excitement at the prospect of filming in Yorkshire.
"I can't wait to try out the ice creams there," the legendary film maker said.
Although plot details are yet unknown, sources revealed Harrison Ford's Jones ends up running a guest house on the sea front. It is there that he is told of the sacred lost bucket and spade. Helping Indiana Jones out on his quest will be Tony Robinson's Time Team.
Working on the film with Spielberg, George Lucas could hardly contain his excitement.
"I'm so excited. I just can't wait. To be allowed to film in such an exotic location is spell binding"
A huge action scene is set out for the film as well. Apparently, Jones confronts a tourist who has destroyed his sandcastle on the beach, and battle it out with deckchairs. Bruce Forsyth has been lined up to play the evil mayor of Scarborough who is intent on finding the sacred lost bucket and spade for himself. Other supporting actors in the film will include A-list stars Jim Bowen, Bobby Davro and Les Dennis. Meanwhile, Jones's love interest will be Pat Butcher.
Tony Robinson revealed a bit more about the plot.
"My Time Team and Jones strike up a friendship, and are determined to find the bucket and spade. However, me and Jones become embroiled in an argument when I get him a Cornetto, instead of the Calypo Lolly he wanted. Its from then on that both of us become sworn enemies. I split up from Indiana and Time Team and try to look for the sacred treasure myself."
With these exciting revelations, 'Indiana Jones IV' has become the most anticipated movie ever since Spice World: The Movie back in 1997. The film is scheduled for a release date in May.
