'I wish I had looked after my Gold teeth, yo ho', the new Rap album from Pam Ayres has surprised many critics and reviewers.

The album which has 12 tracks, and guest spots from Andrew Motion, and Simon Armitage in a rap battle about Jam and Scones, is currently nestling at number 37 in the download charts, with its actual launch next week.

A concert will feature all of the songs, performed by Ayres, Motion, Armitage, and their band 'On the QT'. MC Hammer commented; 'You can't touch this'

This album follows a previous album of covers of songs by Van Halen, Motorhead and Milli Vanilli, which was called 'Pam Ayres Rock'.

The album is now a collector's item, but will be re-launched to coincide with the release of the new album

Make Ben Macnair's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
