image for Bobby D'Afro
I saw that Bobby Davro here, just this morning. He just said 'Betty, the cat's done a whoopsie'

Bobby D'Afro, the newest comedian on the mirthmaker's block has been busy trying to play down any link between himself and 1980's 'funnyman' Bobby Davro.

The 29 year old native New Yorker said: 'It is rather unfortunate, how our names are practically the same. I mean Bryan Adams gets it all the time, because he is the missing half brother of Victoria Adams, or Posh spice, or was it ersthwhile country superstar Ryan Adams, I can't remember'

Similarly misnamed actor, Des Lennis, says that his mum and dad suggested he change his name from Ian McShane so that he could get his equity card.

Mr Lennis said: 'Your parents are meant to protect you from harm, I could have been mistaken for Lovejoy, but now all people know my name from is because I share it with 'Family Fortune's' host Les Dennis. Grrrrr. I hate my family misfortune, I really do'

Make Ben Macnair's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
