In his year book, popular comic Chevy Chase was voted the 'one most likely to make sequels to mediocre films'

The star, who appeared in such cinematic highs as National Lampoon's European vacation, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, National Lampoon's European Vacation (the hilarious scene, where he and his filmic family keep going around and around a roundabout was the reason why such stars as Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney got into acting in the first place).

A rare performance in a straight role in Caddy Shack, where he was out-acted by Bill Murray, before he became really happy was cruelly missed out in the Oscar nominations.
