Playboy Magazine announced today that an upcoming issue would include a multi-photo shoot featuring Dierdre Imus, wife of one-time radio host Don Imus. The photo shoot will take place at or around the Imus Ranch in New Mexico, a Playboy source reported.
Contacted at the Imus Ranch, Don Imus reacted with his usual rancor, "What's the big deal? They said the photos would be in reasonably good taste," then he added, "They promised not to show any nappy parts."
Dierdre Imus, when queried about the shoot, replied, "I just want to feel that I'm contributing to this family. Since we don't have an income right now, we can certainly use the money." She had no comment when asked if the article was really going to be titled "The Green Ho", as her husband often referred to her on his Imus in the Morning show.
Don Imus was removed from the air by both WFAN Radio and MSNBC for comments about the Rutgers Women's basketball team. He has since threatened to sue both entities for wrongful termination, seeking a multi-million dollar settlement.
When asked if her husband would participate in the photo shoot, Dierdre Imus laughed. "Who in hell would want to see his wrinkled old butt?" Mr. Imus' reply to this was unprintable.
Sources near the Imus Ranch say that Dierdre Imus has been jogging every day, and "a lot" of gym equipment has been delivered to the ranch. A Playboy representative said that the equipment was part of the contract with Dierdre Imus. "She just wants to show us her best side."
