Poets, writers and musicians could face weeks of severe disruption if a strike by the muse goes ahead.

The muse is demanding substantive improvements in pay without having to increase its productivity levels of creativity. It is also demanding inspirational flashes be to indexed-linked to a rigid pay structure and the abolition of team objectives for dream-like meditative stream of consciousness.

A spokesman said for the muse said that the case need not go to arbitration. "All we need do is to close our eyes, take a few breaths and enter a timeless place where the answer will gently alight on our shoulder" she said.
