image for Pete Doherty offered £2 million for Kate Moss sex tapes
Moss is said to be livid

London - (Ass Mess): Near-bankrupt Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty has told mates at Camden's Whorely Arms pub - where his unpaid bar tab has now exceeded its statutory £50,000 monthly limit - that he will settle all his debts by the weekend after being offered £2 million for sex video tapes of him, Kate Moss and an unidentified young female drunk that "looks an awful lot like Peaches Geldof".

The news comes after a 'totally livid and freaked out' Kate Moss hired private detectives to track down the missing tapes rumored to be the last two out of a dozen that the couple made while smashed out of their skulls between December 2005 and November 2006.

"It was one helluva bender," mates of Moss said today.

"Kate is a nervous wreck because she thinks she might have done things on the tapes that in the cold light of sobriety are, frankly, sordid.

"And now she'd got Bob Geldof on her back effing and blinding and swearing he'll do her over if the Peaches footage ever comes out.

"Doherty's intermediaries have said to Kate that the tapes are his property and can be used as surety in a number of financial transactions.

"This includes the receipt of a substantial seven figure check either from her or Geldof pere or the Celebrity Sex Acts Anonymous.com website.

"She has until Wednesday to decide."
