image for Winner Announced In Harry Potter Look-Alike Contest
Can you see a resemblence to the Dark Lord?

July 20th saw Harry Potter Look Alike-Contest take place in every Barnes and Noble, Borders, Hastings, and every other major book store/retailer in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom. Pictures from those contest winners were all e-mailed to J.K. Rowling, who chose the winner of the International Harry Potter Look-Alike Contest.

The winner was an older man from Wyoming who chose to come dressed as Lord Voldemort/He Who Must Not Be Named. Currently living in Washington D.C., Dick Cheney claimed that he did not know who Harry Potter was, who Lord Voldemort was, and that there was even a costume contest in progress. He further stated that he had only gone into the store for a copy of the "latest special order Lesbo magazine for my daughter and something about shooting people for me."

Cheney, who is also currently Vice President of the United States, was shown artistic rendidions of the Dark Lord, and did agree that there was some resemblence.

Make Jalapenoman's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
