Yes, you heard it right, a group that monitors abuse in the prison systems has requested that Paris Hilton come before their board and relay her incarceration experience. Paris who's only serving 45 days maximum probably didn't get the same treatment a regular Joe off the street would.
Paris's jail time, while probably quite traumatic to her, is not the typical Los Angeles jail experience. Paris has been treated like royalty compared to the over crowded insane asylum that typically people have to endure in the sheriffs care.
An inmate recently released said, "The 26-year-old is living in 'Lean Cuisine' style, sleeping comfortably and eating roast beef, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken nuggets and fish that others would never get.
The over crowding in the L.A. County jails typically have up to 6 people in a 4 person cell, prisoners typically can wait more than a week to be assigned a cell, being housed in dormitory type rooms with 200 bunks for 500 people.
So what exactly does this group think they can learn from Paris Hilton's brutal jail experience. I'd venture to guess a lot of press, which may bring a lot of attention to their cause. I wonder if they have the personnel appearance fee Paris will be commanding after her release.
