Wizard of Oz Co-stars Bush and Rice

Anathema Motion Pictures recently announced that a newly updated version of the classic movie the Wizard of Oz is set to begin filming this summer, with a release date of April 2008 anticipated.

The film, which is being called a "Post 9-11 Wizard of Oz", will star Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as Dorothy, Vice President Dick Cheney as the heartless Tin Man, Karl Rove as the Cowardly Lion, and President George W. Bush as the brainless Scarecrow.

President Bush is excited about the chance to star in a major motion picture and is already comparing himself to former president Ronald Reagan, who was an actor before ascending to the White House. Speaking from grave, the late president said "I was Ronald Reagan, and you are no Ronald Reagan."
