ITV's X-Factor has suffered another massive blow after they illegally charged for phone calls this week. ICTIS the phone line watchdog was publishing results of its investigation into the popular programme but before it did, it phoned the production company to let them know of the results.
However it has now come to light that ICTIS could not get a response from the programme but was charged a staggering £5 a minute for the call.
This is another huge blow to X Factor as it was due to be reprimanded but now its creator Simon Cowell faces a public spanking as his punishment.
A spokesman for ICTIS spoke exclusively to the Spoof, saying "this is simply not good enough and something has to be done, we will be appealing to the court to allow us to publicly spank a member of their production team who we cannot name... lets just say his name is not Cimon Sowell"
This has severe consequences for other shows caught up in the scandal who have had to install freephone numbers in anticipation of ICTIS' call.
ICTIS has refused to pay the bill but the overall total is thought to be hundreds of times higher than the money made from that small baby faced contestant (maybe Ray Quinn's) fist release.
Tickets for the spanking will be available from the X-Factor hotline... if you want to risk the call.
