LOS ANGELES COUNTY JAIL, CALIFORNIA-- (ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST) After being warned countless times, the law has reached the end of its' rope. The Honorable Traffic Court Judge E.Z. Street, threw the book and sentenced Paris, Hilton to one year in the county lock-up. Her days behind bars will not be like an episode of "The Simple Life", this is the big leagues now. No special treatment or conjugal visits neither, for such blatant perusal of California state driving laws.
The unhappy Judge Street, had this to say about the predictable sentence, "Today's outcome should not of come to a surprise to anyone. Not only were violations taken lightly, Municipal Building Code infractions are also being leveled at the 25 story hotel structure. You have to remember this skyscraper is here on a limited visa from France. The Los Angeles City Hall had mixed feelings about the ruling."When you go visiting in other countries you must remember to be at your best behavior, But, in Paris's situation she is lucky she wasn't imploded", said Hall.
The L.A. city attorney's office said, the judge could have sentence Hilton to 90 days in jail after the luxury hotel had been slapped with 36 months' probation & $400 in fines in January. There also is the mandatory attendance of alcohol-education classes, all this after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor of driving under the influence.
Recently, Hilton was ticketed speeding in her convertible with no headlights & no driver's license. Hilton representative Elliot Minx said, last month, Paris didn't know her license had been revoked. City attorney's office spokesman, Nick Velquezass told Architectural Digest that if she knew about her license, it would be a potential violation of her probation. We are confident that we have sufficient evidence to prove that her license was suspended and that she knew that at the time of the infraction"
