It was confirmed today that Britney spears, the self styled wild woman of pop is to star in her first theatrical role when the 70's classic musiceal "Hair" returns to the west end later this week.
"I am really delighted" commented Britney upon hearing the news " this will be scaled down version of the original show and is to run in a little 40 seat theatre above The Comb and Clippers pub in Upper Steet Islington and will be performed in a barber shop style"
Miles Lardon the show's producer who is best known for his interpretation of La Traviata performed by the legendary Chas & Dave and set in a brick lane Bangladeshi restaurant has been working on the show for over 5 years, and so far it is estimated to have cost in the region of £12 million. "We are confident that the ticket sales alone will make this show a commercial as well as an artistic success" commented Lardon.
It also seems that Britney is still very much in demand in the music world and it was rumoured today that she is about to embark on a project with the remaining members of Pink Floyd to record a re-master of their epic album, "The Final Cut"
