The BBC announced today that Noel Edmonds is in for a fight as his ex-side kick Mr Blobby is back. Blobby has signed a £45,000,000 contract to make his own game show, the show entitled "Blobby or no Blobby" will be shown on BBC 1 at the same time as Edmonds hosts "Deal or no Deal" on C4.
The show will lasts for 1 hour as is aimed at children; the idea is that the children will make a list of things they would like which will be put in boxes such as you see on DOND. Booby prizes will also be included as will an "end of the line box".
The Blobster (the BBC's version of the banker), will phone up offering prizes ranging from things such as sweets, autographs and small holiday breaks. If a child decides to accept the offer, they are then asked a question, if they get it correct that can open a box that is in front of them.
A BBC spokesman said: "Sacking Mr Blobby is a big mistake, we are delighted that he has accepted booth our apologise and contract."
Blobby said "Blobbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, Blobbyyy, Blobby." Which translates to: "I can't wait to put Noel back in his place and take over as the most successful TV present of 2007"
